  • The Prisoner - Episode 1 'The Prisoner' is about a man who is kidnapped from his London home, and wakes up in a strange Village, where he is known only by the name Number Six.

Various Village Officers-in-Charge, always referred to as Number Two, set about trying to find out why Number Six resigned his job as a secret agent. Number Six is interrogated, brainwashed, and manipulated by the strange powers behind the mysterious Village. This intriguing series first went to air in 1968. It was ahead of its time then, and continues to intrigue today. It was very much the brain-child of Patrick McGoohan, who not only starred as Number Six, but was also instrumental in bringing the series to fruition. More at tv.com

Next thursday: "When the levees broke" (Spike Lee)

"Lost" is taking a break next week. To kick off the "all-new thursday-night" we will show this film :

"As the world watched in horror, Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans on August 29, 2005. Like many who watched the unfolding drama on television news, director Spike Lee was shocked not only by the scale of the disaster, but by the slow, inept and disorganized response of the emergency and recovery effort. Lee was moved to document this modern American tragedy, a morality play witnessed by people all around the world. The result is WHEN THE LEVEES BROKE: A REQUIEM IN FOUR ACTS. The film is structured in four acts, each dealing with a different aspect of the events that preceded and followed Katrina's catastrophic passage through New Orleans."

The Sri Lanka Video

I collected 39 fragments of 70! Did anyone find the one on Times Square yet? There are still some important parts missing, but a lot of questions about the Dharma Initiative are answered! It ends with some footage probably shot by Rachel Blake.

Info: "Rachel Blake shot this video while in Sri Lanka. She claims the information revealed is so damaging that it will tear The Hanso Foundation apart. It is too dangerous to release in one piece, so she is distributing fragments around the web via clues and glyphs. Players of The Lost Experience must locate codes to enter on hansoexposed.com - each code reveals a short video fragment, which then must be sequenced.
